WoWfluenza

Short for World of Warcraft influenza. An illness similar to a mild version in the flu, caused by an addiction to the Blizzard Entertainment PC game World of Warcraft. It results in further extreme dependence on said game and often confines the victim to his or her computer for many weeks without food or water to spare.

Normal student: Hey Derek, why weren't you in school today?
Derek Miller: I came down with a serious case of WoWfluenza, now I'm dehydrated and can't sleep without playing for at least 15 hours a day

wowtf

An abbreviation of "wow" and "wtf", doubling up in exclamations. Interpreted as "wow the fuck". Can be used in awe of something impressive, dismay at another's display of ignorance, or when somebody does something that just makes you shake your head in disappointment. Particularly effective in instances where you become immediately baffled and pissed off by someone being a complete jackass.

Friend: "Hey man wanna hang out?" (over text)

You: "Yeah sounds great!"

Friend: "Sorry wrong person"

You: "wowtf."

WoWer

n. Short for WoW hour. A WoWer is the perception of time a World of Warcraft player has while playing. A WoWer is generally longer than a standard hour. Most WoWers are at least 2 hours in real time, possibly more, depending on the level of addiction.

Michael played his game for only a WoWer and was surprised it was 3:30am already.

Wife: "Honey, I bought a new teddy for you. Come see."

Michael: "I'll be there in a WoWer."

Wife: "ZZZzzzzzz"
