A person who is generally overweight but the fat is porportioned oddly. Perhaps they look normal except for awkwardly fat arms or a double chin. It can also apply to someone who's fat seems to move around, or they gain and lose large amounts of weight on a regular basis.

A shape rotator is someone with high visuospatial ability. Contrasts with with wordcel, i.e. someone with high verbal ability.

The origin is unclear, but one theory says that it is RAF slang relating to the difficulty of performing aerobatic loops, which were described as "pear shaped" if executed imperfectly.
