semposal

(n)- a proposal from one person asking another person to a semi-formal dance. Much like a "promposal", but arguably an even dumber term, It combines the words "semi-formal" and "proposal".

While best left not done at all, semposals can range from a simple note to elaborate interpretive dance depending on how badly the semposer wants to be rejected.

Chad performs a dramatic skit of the shame he will endure if Stephanie doesn't accept his semposal. Later, Stephanie and Chad go to the semi-formal where they dance in tiny romantic circles during the slow jams.

A shitty low end CPU made by AMD. Considered a great CPU line back in 2004 for gaming, but AMD decided to not get up off their ass and actually improve their once great CPU.

Another cringe worthy college culture (besides liberal arts, "wokeness", (insert any religious or spiritual books here) Thumping, Participation Trophy, Ideological warfare, cancel culture, performative activism, Battle of GPA {race to the Cum Laude}, sorority and fraternity/Greek society, etc.) when someone is congratulated (semprotulation is a portmanteau of sempro/seminar proposal + congratulations) after his/her/their final assignment/thesis/dissertation proposal was/were accepted

A: Semprotulation bro! You just gone halfway to be graduated, so don't waste your time and get ready when your final assignment/thesis/dissertation were tested!
B: Just stop, it's cringe. Oh, did i mention if you were mansplaining me?
