sacrificialigion

An attempted online religion from the 1990s, it never got the desired saturation into mainstream, because the founder (i.e. A. J. Allegro), committed suicide soon after its conception. The basis of the religion was that the world would be better off if we all killed ourselves.
I'm so depressed at how we humans have raped Mother Nature, I am thinking about starting a sacrificialigion.

Sacrificial whipping boy

No. I'm not going to pay the price for your inability to cope with the fact that your kids are getting fucked and stuffed by your priests and your bureaucrats.
Hym "No. I'm just a sacrificial whipping boy you're using to cope with your child safety anxiety. Nothing has changed. I still have everything to gain and nothing to lose. And you can't say the same."

Person 1 - "Yeah I'll have a biscuit, but don't give me the stale one at the top"
Person 2 - "don't worry bro, I would never give a homie the sacrificial biscuit"

Sacrificial Betrayal

Sacrificial Betrayal is a Richmond, Virginia based Metal Band. Vocalist Tom Fuller created their own term for the following.

Sacrificial Betrayal is the act of giving up something valuable — such as one’s trust, loyalty, or personal well-being — only to be deceived, abandoned, or harmed by the very person or group that was meant to benefit from that sacrifice.

“Sacrificial Betrayal” feels like a built-in contradiction—and that’s what gives it weight.
It suggests a situation where someone commits an act of betrayal not out of selfishness, but as a form of sacrifice. The person gives up trust, reputation, or a relationship—knowingly becoming the “villain”—because they believe it serves a greater good, protects someone, or prevents a worse outcome.
There are a few layers baked into the idea:
• Moral tension: Betrayal is usually condemned, while sacrifice is admired. Combining them forces you to question whether the intent behind an action can redeem the harm it causes.

• Hidden motives: The betrayed person often doesn’t know the sacrifice was intentional, which makes the act lonelier and more tragic.

• Loss of identity: The one who betrays may lose how others see them—and possibly how they see themselves.

• Delayed meaning: Sometimes the “sacrifice” is only understood much later… or never.

In short, “Sacrificial Betrayal” captures the painful idea that doing the “right” thing can sometimes require being seen as doing the worst thing.
In the aftermath of his sacrificial betrayal, nothing remained but shattered trust and the weight of a choice he could never undo.
