throwing away a machine or human after it is decided that they are so worn out or used up that there is no value left. the human gets a small pension that is not enough to live on, the machine is junked.

Ramirez

The protagonist of a popular game called, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He is seen as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment (which means badass) but he is almost always bossed around during missions by Sgt. Foley (his higher ranking superior). He is also often commanded to do near impossible things or suicide missons, yet happens to always get them done. Failure to comply will be the spamming of the word(s) known as Oscar Mike, Infinity Ward's favorite word to use, but most notably ONLY used when you play as Ramirez.

Examples include

RAMIREZ! DEFEND BURGER TOWN!
RAMIREZ! MASH THOSE POTATOES!
RAMIEREZ! YOU BURNT THE FUCKING TURKEY, OSCAR MIKE IT ON OVER TO BURGERTOWN!
RAMIREZ! EAT YOUR VEGETABLES!

RAMIREZ! DINNER ROLLS ARE OSCAR MIKE! GET MORE FROM THE OVEN!

RAMIREZ, TAKE OSCAR AND MIKE TO BURGER TOWN AND ELIMINATE THOSE FOOTMOBILES, WE'RE OSCAR MIKE, HOOAH?

Anti-retirement home

Aka - the kid's grandparent's house, free babysitting, (even though you should really be paying them). They want to enjoy their retirement that they worked so hard for and planned for a long time, but now, they can't.

I know we have had a whole year to make other arrangements, but we can just bring the kids to the anti-retirement home everyday. I know they are retired, but It's free and I don't trust anyone else.

Hanley Ramirez

One of Major League Baseball's best offensive players. Currently a shortstop for the Florida Marlins, Ramirez was the 2006 NL Rookie of the Year and owns the National League's top batting average midway through the 2009 season.

Ramirez has the ability to both hit for power and play effective smallball. Hanley's defense has also improved greatly, and his solid play at shortstop has complimented his reputation as one of baseball's most feared hitters.

Wow, Hanley Ramirez is pretty much automatic with runners in scoring position...
