groove radar

A system of displaying the difficulty of a song in Dance Dance Revolution, first used in DDR 6th Mix (DDR MAX). It is represented as a circle with a star shape in the middle that stretches to show the values of five points on it. It was created to give players a better idea of what to expect when going into a song, instead of just an arbitrary number for difficulty, the foot rating (although this was later put back in under the groove radar in DDR 7th Mix aka DDR MAX 2.)

AIR represents the frequency of "jumps" (two-arrow hits) in a song.
FREEZE represents the frequency of hold arrows.
STREAM is the overall density of steps in the song.
VOLTAGE is the maximum density of steps.
CHAOS is still somewhat unknown. A DDR simulator called Stepmania represents Chaos as the number of off-beat steps (as in, not 4th or 8th notes), but in actual DDR games, it seems to be the overall "irregularity" of steps.

Drunk Radar

The often useful ability to find your way home, or to where you want to go, whilst incapacitated by alcohol.

I was supposed to be staying at Steve's but we got seperated in the club. My drunk radar got me home even though I didn't know I knew the way.

Paul Rudd Radar (PRR)

Paul Rudd Radar or PRR its acronym means to have an inner radar that mysteriously notifies a woman, man, or any fan regarding any new movies, appearances, or magazines starring Paul Rudd. It's almost like a Spider Sense, but more like a Paul Rudd Sense. It's like a Death Eater's Mark on the inner forearm, but instead it signals Paul Rudd's fans of his return to the big screen, small screen, or print media.

Ever since Clueless, I've kept up with Paul Rudd, I've developed a serious case of Paul Rudd Radar (PRR).

I felt a sudden surge in my PRR when I heard about the August 2010 edition of GQ.

My Paul Rudd Radar is so strong, I was one of the few who felt the transmission being emitted from 2008's I Could Never Be Your Woman.

Radar Mode

The act of removing one side of your ear/headphones, so that you may hear the sounds of your computer, whilst remaining aware of the sounds around you.

Radar Mode is often initiated when viewing pornography in a house that is not empty of other occupants.

Adam: It must be annoying having your parents staying over this weekend.

Connor: Yeah, I've had to use Radar Mode all weekend!
