A romantic flight of the imagination directed at someone who cannot reciprocate or is otherwise unavailable. It disconnects one from reality and keeps you in a state of being unavailable to others who actually might be interested. It differs from "infatuation" in that the waters have been tested and you have been rejected but you still want that person just as bad and still have hopeful fantasies about maybe, someday.... It differs from "being stuck on someone" because you were never a couple.

Fugu means money. It is best when you get fugu, but not as fun to pay the fugu. When you invest in a business you want to get lots of fugu.
Show me the fugu!

A disassociated state where someone loses awareness while scrolling social media and unconsciously drifts between apps. Similar to a fugue state, it involves memory gaps, autopilot browsing, and the sudden realization that you’ve ended up deep in another feed without remembering how.
