A program often used by PC gamers in first-person shooters to increase their field-of-view, likening the perspective more closely to a real person's FOV that is equal to 180 degrees. Most PC gamers cannot stand the standard, locked, and unrealistically small FOV of 65 degrees found on consoles. Consoles are locked at 65 degrees to decrease the processing power required to run games even at the low frame rate of 30.

Fovely is a program, there are no examples.

Foverity

Foverity is a noun that refers to FOV, or field of view. In many videogames, the FOV is the range in which characters can see on their screens. The word foverity stems from fov- and the characteristicness of a describing noun, or adjective, combined into one word.

Person 1: "Dude, you should check you foverity to see if you can increase it. Then you can see more on your screen!"
Person 2: "Really?! I never knew that was a thing!"
