This word originated near the 15th century, when it was firsted used as an interjection or adjective to describe emotions. It has adapted a later meaning,( douche )which many people now-a-days ignorantly dismiss as a spelling error, such as christina tufford. Shame on you.

Get the dooshmug. Redneck spelling version of the traditional form Douche-bag used to insult another person. Same meaning; however, with potentially more of an insult to the recipient given that it is typically wielded by a person with no higher than a 9th or 10th grade education, multiple missing teeth, and wearing greasy overalls--all, which said person wears as a badge of pride in protest to the perceived traditional version with french influence
