dialing coach

a professional "dialing coach" is a trained counselor who is paid by reticent or shy parents to have "the talk" with young adolescent males. the physicality and aesthetic of sex is central. generally speaks in language that is somehow both forthright and metaphorical.

Parent 1: I've noticed that Benny is taking longer showers recently.
Parent 2: Time to call the dialing coach!

Girl 1: What are u doing to me?!??
Benny: No worries Callie it's like my D Coach taught me - DIAL DOWN THE MIDDLE.

It means to reduce the strength or intensity of something.

eg It was very hot in my home, so I dialled back the heating system.

eg Tom is very angry, and his friend says 'Hey, Tom, dial it back a bit'.

Dial a retard

The activity reluctantly carried out when the technology has gone wrong and you need to call the help desk. A long and frustrating call follows before you are either told to do something totally irrelevant or are given an incident number with more digits than atoms in the known universe - or both.

Joe: Hey, that server's down again.
Bill: Yeah, I guess its dial a retard time.
Joe: Oh no, not those fuckers.

Dome Dial

Similar to the Drunk Dial, a Dome Dial is the act of calling a friend or multiple friends while being fellated. Usually proof is needed to clarify the dial, such as holding the phone near the girl (or guy if thats your thing) who is doing the fellating in order to record sounds such as slurping.

Marc called Jimmy while a random chick he met at a party was going down on him. They talked for a bit, and Marc gave some clues as to what was going on on his end of the phone. He held the phone next to her head so that Jimmy could hear what was going on. The next day, Jimmy told all of his friends that he was dome dialed.
