Storming of the US Capitol

Let me make this as unbiased as possible.

On January 6th 2021, an armed mob of far right individuals broke into the United States Capitol Building with the intent of stopping the US Congress from certifying the 2020 presidential election. Many were injured, and a few were killed.

The riot ultimately failed, and the election was certified, with all objections to the certifications of certain states failing.

AP CAPSTONE

A new AP class for sophmores who think that they know english, where you are supposed to analyze an arguments line of reasoning and the evidence that it is supported, but even the smart people in this class are dead on the inside. Its super hard and getting above a ninety is super hard.

Its referred to as Ap Capstone, Ap Crapstone, Ap cap, or Ap crap.

Capitolism

Capitolism is an ironic reference to an economy in which market forces are subsumed to political interests in Washington. The term is derived from Karl Marx's term for a private enterprise-based economy, Capitalism, and the name of the building in which the U.S. Congress meets, the Capitol.

Similar to crony capitalism, capitolism isn't capitalism and it isn't quite socialism, but combines some of the worst aspects of both systems. A business that makes decisions based on what will earn it subsidies from Washington, rather than supply and demand, is capitolist.

To avoid bankruptcy, General Motors must make business decisions based not on the market, but on the tens of billions of dollars in subsidies it seeks from Washington. Once a prominent example of capitalism it is now one of capitolism.

Murda Capitol

Because of the high crime rate in the Washington, D.C. area (Crime rate peaked during the 1990's), D.C. was given the nickname "Murda Capitol".

Sam: Man i bet D.C. is safe as hell
