The male version of a Stage 5 cling on. That dude that blows you up non-stop and attaches to you like a barnacle...much like a puppy.

Independent Chick 1: "Girl, that boy is thirsty, he keeps blowing me up."

n: a person or group of people who will support the claims/do the biddings of their 'hull' (leader) whether or not he/she is right or his/her requests are reasonable.

Often seen in card game communities or the MMORPG arena. (I.E. Magic the Gathering or W.o.W.)

Ex. 1:

Fred the Hull: Hey barnacle - go get me a soda and then give me all of your rares!

Branden the Barnacle: Sure thing, Fred! You want my card sleeves too?

Ex. 2:

Fred the Hull: Hey, Branden - I need some water essences. Want to farm them for me?

Branden the Barnacle: Sure thing!

Fred the Hull: God, I love having barnacles.

Barnacle 

Someone who "locks down" to a machine, vehicle, door, pipe, window etc., usually for political reasons. A barnacle attaches itself and is difficult to remove. This term is especially used by groups of professional activists.

"Who are the barnacles for this operation?"
"Let's go with John and Jane. They're eager, and have no priors."
"Great, I'll start prepping the lock boxes."
