Ameetaroy

A slang term for a prostitute. Named after a famous prostitute from Birmingham in the U.K. who later worked the streets of Mile End in East London.

Her fame stems from the fact that she supposedly copulated with 5 well endowed Black and Bengali males, including the rapper Wiley, who mentioned her in one of his songs, namely, "treddin on thin ice". It is unknown whether this story is fiction or truth, however the term "Ameetaroy" used for referring to a prostitute is common in East London, especially amongst the Bengali community.

Amita

A girl's name (although there are male variants e.g. Amit or Amitabh). Means "Infinite" or " unlimited" in Sanskrit or Hindi and also is a truncation of one of the names for the Buddha (Amitabha - the manifestation of Immeasurable Light).
