A terminology is a completely made-up slang term, or phrase. Sometimes the catch on, sometimes they don't

dude 1: "Oh snap! You wanna hear the new terminology I cooked up last night?"

dude 2: "Uh-oh"

dude 1: "check this out: I'm gonna call something cool that happens a 'seismic anomaly'"

dude 2: "okay, that's a terminology I can get into!"

Go (Ottawa Terminology)

To "go" someone is to "go after them," which may take the form of violently rushing or mugging them. It stems from the popular high school phrase "you wanna go?", commonly used to instigate fisticuffs in the parking lot.

This usage of the term is common in the Ottawa area of Canada and is particularly prevalent among the Quebecois French-speaking population.

If you walk through Mechanicsville at night, someone might try to go you. You'd best be in constant contact with someone by phone, preferably a cute gymnast who can come to your rescue.

When an author decides that there should be more than three books in his "trilogy" and continues writing after the first three books have already been published as a trilogy.

When David Eddings first wrote the "Belgariad", or when Joe Abercrombie wrote the "First Law Trology'. Both of which started out as a trilogy.

Google Terminology

A word used that is obviously looked up.

Ex: Blue Screen of Death.

Blue Screen of Death is obviously not something somebody would say right when they see a blue screen error.
