When your friend- who looks strikingly like Spock from Star Trek- engages in behavior similar to cock-blocking. Often in brutally failed attempts to hook up with your girlfriend, or prevent you from doing so.

John: Dude, did you get any action last night?

Mike: No, Andrew was fuckin spock-blocking me again.

John: Lame.

This happens when another customer or a store employee leaves their cart in front of the product, or "stock" shelf that you need something from. Some grocery stores "stock block" themselves by setting up a temporary display in front of other items.

It sucks when you're in a rush to get some things from the store on your way home from work, and the aisles are full of people and their giant shopping carts, packed high and full, stock blocking the few things you came to pick up!

In normative terms: Receiving rejection from a girl because of a pre-existing relationship or partiality with/to another, completely expected guy.

Not to be confused with the term spock block, which denotes that Spock is the one being blocked and not Kirk.

{After having been turned down, a guy returns to his friends, all of which then watch another, much less 'qualified' male approach the woman, ready to laugh at his impending failure. When she leaves with him, all the friend's buddies have a laugh at his expense, calling out "Spock Blocked!" in mocking tones.}
