There are people who love to try and force young people (20s and under) to apologize, or repent, and be forgiven. Apologies and repentance are overdone to the point that they've lost their point, at what point does the person demanding the apology want you to convert to their belief system?
Sometimes its better to let somebody know you did something on purpose than to think you need their forgiveness to move past it in life, or to repent. Sometimes its better to keep carrying baggage around on your own.

Her point is that the repentance is vapid and meaningless because to Christianity it's just a performance for your God so that YOU get a reward.
Hym "And the alternative is to actually make whole the people that have been wrong are not doing it in the first place. If you actually believed you were going to burn forever you wouldn't be doing the thing that requires repentance in the first place. That's her point. The repentance is hollow."
