Romantic bullshit

1. Anything meant to make a 'romantic occasion' more meaningful than it is, while killing all sense of romance.

2. Anything that makes you embarrassed of the person you're courting.

3. Anything that makes you want to dump someone's ass.

'Romantic bullshit' consists of things that detract from romance - objects like gross scented candles which induce suffocation; or clichéd thoughtless things like lousy poetry that make one of the parties involved feel awkward; ie, "roses are red, violets are blue, I have a gun, so get in the van."

Ever since the mid-1990s, music industry has been constantly increasing volumes of music to appeal to low-quality device users(eg. iPod) to trick they are listening to the improve version of the recording which, in reality, has been simply brickwalled.

Junjou Romantica

An amazing shounen-ai anime (also a manga) that revolves around 3 couples (Junjou Romantica ((main couple)) , Junjou Egoist , and Junjou Terrorist). People who aren't even much of a fan of yaoi love this anime. The makers of it also made Sekaii Ichi Hatsukoi .

Non-Fangirl-" Hey what're you watching?"

Yaoi Fangirl- "Junjou Romantica. Look! There are 3 couples!"

Non-Fangirl- "Yaoi isn't really my thing.."

Fangirl- "Try it!"

10 minutes later...

"Omigod I LOVE this!!!!! I SHIP SO MUCH!!"

Romantic Cataracts

When a person is too stubborn/stupid to understand that someone is making the most obvious moves on them.

Term usually applies for someone who has this happen to them on a regular basis.

One particular scenario of Romantic Cataracts: Girl leans in to make the move, guy turns and says "let's walk this way!" oblivious to the move she made on him ... for the 10th consecutive time.

2. Someone who wants to make their partner/lover feel special, so they will do and/or give things that are considered. . .beautiful to prove their love for the other person. . . (I hope that makes sense.)
