Reggae

Reggae is a music movement created in Jamaica, contributed to greatly by the late The Hon. Robert Nesta Marley. Reggae is almost like a way of life. And reggae doesn't only involve rastafarians singing about weed. It's about unity, love, and sending that message around the world.

(And now that EVERYONE, that is celebrities, want to jump on the reggae bandwagon, like Sinead O'Connor, Lumidee and Stevie Wonder, the genre has become exploited. Everyone wants to do a collaboration with a reggae star. The Jamaican colours are spread all over, and Jamaica is getting no credit.)

And note, REGGAE is DIFFERENT FROM DANCEHALL MUSIC!! Dancehall is more of a DJ-ing gig and Reggae actually involves singing.

Urban Reggae

Urban Reggae is a sub-genre of Reggae music. It is smoother in sound and blends R&B with popular Jamaican Reggae style, a little ska, and Island vibes. It is increasingly popular on the West Coast on USA.

Or also known as, "Palatial regalia".

You can use any word not used by most people.
Heres an example with 2 of hundreds of words.

That regalia is palatial!
Instead of, That house is big

It can mean anything you want it to mean.
*Note: It doesn't have to be palatial or regalia, those are just more common when it comes to this.

To take a song of a non-reggae genre and give it a reggae sound.

Ali Campbell is an example of someone who likes to reggaefy non-reggae tracks.

'Can't Help Falling in Love' is a song, originally by Elvis Presley, that was reggaefied by UB40.
