South Oshawa

The official name (known colloquially as "Trashy Town) for the region in the south of the Ontario city of Oshawa. It is notable because it has the highest homeless rate in the world with 50% of the population being homeless! 49% of the population owns houses, because they sell drugs to to homeless ones, and 1% of the population is getting stabbed, right now. There is always 1% of the population of South Oshawa that is getting stabbed.

Gord: Hey broski, I need to take a trip down to South Oshawa you want to come with me?

Sam: Are you crazy? I'll stay home, try not to get stabbed.
Gord: Alright, I'll pick you up some cheap meth while I'm there.

Oishi

An Oishi is a dreamer. They have wonderful smiles with the bestest dimples and are warm friends. Oishis are food and art connoisseurs and love to appreciate the simple things in life. Are insecure and have hearts that are a little fragile only because they are full of so much love to give. Oishis are witty and wild and can be found cursing computer science engineering projects at wee hours of the night.

Orishas

African studies of Black Gods and Goddesses. It is a native religion to the Yoruba people. It originated in Africa and then spread to Cuba. The origin of this study was organically developed and secretly taught by Black slaves–from the early of times when the slave trade and imprisonment of Blacks was established by Colonialism. The Orishas relates to Black Magic and Black Witchcraft, which is why it is so controversial to some because the origin of this study is strongly criminalized by traditional institutions that sprung off of American patriotism and systemic racism. The creation of Orishas was taught and popularized by Black ancestors. It was important to them because it was used to aid and guide them by spirit and soul during the slave trades and cruel treatment of Blacks. This threaten the White Brothers, as the African Brothers and Sisters would seek freedom from their spirited guides and angels. Christianity was the only socially acceptable choice of Faith. Anything other than that–spoke to outsiders of the Magic World as “psychotic” and “criminal” except it was the similar teachings of the Orishas, and it was stripped of its influence during the Colonial times.

Colonialism has negatively impacted the influence of Orishas by deeming it as bad spirituality and casting people off as“kooks” who use it as a spirit tool for generational transformation and fighting against systemic oppression
