This is teenage Instant Messaging slang meaning "Parent Over Shoulder". It tells the other user the their mother/father is standing over them, and to not say anything that might get them into trouble.

Girl 1: LYKE OMG TYLE IS LYKE DA HOTEST GUY IN DA HOLE WORLD!!!!1!1
Girl 2: P.O.S.
Girl 1: can u help me wid my english hw?
Girl 2: sure, wat pg is on?
....
Girl 2: KK, hes gone

P.O.S

A rapper and multi-instrumentalist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is one of 9 members of Doomtree, a group of MC's and DJ's from the twin cities. He's also a part of the Rhymesayers record label, which is also home to others such as Atmosphere, MF Doom, and Brother Ali. P.O.S is very talented, although not very well-known. He has three albums at the time of writing, Ipecac Neat, Audition, and Never Better. His real name is Stefon Alexander. P.O.S doesn't definitively stand for anything, but it's been know to mean Pissed Off Stef, Product of Society, Promise of Skill, Promise of Stress, and even Piece of Shit (a joke).

A guy: Hey I heard you went to Taste of Minnesota 2010 on July 2nd?

Another guy: Yeah! I saw Minus the Bear, The Walkmen, P.O.S, and Atmosphere!

A guy: That must have been great!

Its the abreviation for Over the Pants Squeeze Job. Or when a female gives the man a HJ over his shorts or underwear.

H.O.P.S.

Hookers and/or Ho's on parade
Used to describe a group of slutty girls trying to get attention from the opposite sex using scandalous and obviously whoreish antics.
These HOPS can be eaisly picked out of a crowd for having the following traits:
- exposing wardrobe
- Noses up in the air
- dancing like they are having sex with nothing
- clinging onto people of importance. (Ie - Dj's, club staff, local celebrities)
- excessive amounts of disgusting makeup cakes on their faces
- excessive amount of cheap knockoff purfume
- fake tits

These HOPS usually gather in groups of 3 or more, although you can find them individually, usually under a random man.

"Oh my god Karen, the H.O.P.S. are out again!"
