Melbert

An ancient beast of Norse legend. Half man, Half beast. It is large, in charge, and quite hairy. Most people, when first exposed to this beast, need photographic proof due to its alarming appearance. Characteristics include long hair, epic beard forged by Thor himself, metal tee shirts or rugby tee shirts, and a quizzical expression dawned before he feeds.

My sister was walking home alone last night and saw a large hairy beast leap from one building to another. She claims it was a Melbert."

Mebies

Is generally used by Gerodies or in the North East. 'Yeah maybe' becomes just Mebies. It is an affectionate word and is not used harshly or abrubtly. It is a word used to describe 'yeah im not sure really but lets think about it'. This frame of mind simply becomes 'Mebies'.

Lorali : "hey Emma, wanna gan the fish and chippy the night?"
Emma: "Mebies"

Mebbit

A rarely seen or documented creature. It's existence was first discovered in 1998 in Boise, ID. They are about the size of a large Chimpanzee but mangier in appearance. When they walk, they "shamble". Their cry is a high pitched "MEEEEP!!". They are pack animals and have a rather violent temperament. They are smart enough to be trained to carry explosive vests and detonate them near their targets. Few people who have ever lived to see a Mebbit have lived to tell of them.

John: Hey Pat, today I sketched my rendition of a Mebbit training camp in the Himalayas.

Pat: Dude, be careful who sees that.

John: Come on man, we both know Mebbits aren't rea--

Mebbit: MEEEEP!!

*BEE BEE BEEP*
