Mase Minute

A "mase minute" (v.) Is a term in which someone says they will be "back in a minute," but are back hours later. The terminology comes from the popular hip-hop artist Mase, and his tendency to say "be back in a minute" and never come back.

"Hey I'll be back in just a minute."
"Alright."
*3 hours passes and person 1 finally comes back*
"That was a mase minute."

Pastor Mase 

(Or 'Pastor Mason')Refers to the rapper Mase(Mason Betha), who is now a registered pastor as of April 1999. Forming his own ministry, S.A.N.E. (Saving a Nation Endangered). Returned to the rap music scene as of August 24th 2004 with come-back album 'Welcome Back'.
