This phrase, also known as "Marlin's Didgeridoo" came from the Australian TV show Angry Boys in 2011. The direct quote was the character Gran insulting an inmate by saying "Go blow your didgeridoo Marlin". This sparked an internet meme of facebook groups or like pages about Marlin and his "didgeridoo".
The next level up from this has become Marlin's Nipples. It's used as a swear for something surprising or extraordinary.
