When a person laughs way too long at another person, thus making the situation horrendously awkward for everyone.

That dumb broad in the corner keeps laugh raping my friend every time he tells a dead baby joke.

The Alen Laugh

A laugh produced after stating a joke in order to drown out everyone's silence when said joke was lame. It's often used as a preemptive strategy to appear funnier than one actually is.

Alen proceeded to tell us a pun that made no sense and followed it up with the Alen Laugh. No one else was laughing.

Another name for the Jack of Diamonds (also see: suicide king). In some variations of poker and black jack, players must chuckle everytime a Jack of Diamonds is played or drawn.

We know who has 'Laughing Boy' because he laughed to himself when he picked up his cards.

silent laughter

When something is so funny, or you are in a state of such slap happiness, that regular laughter transforms into an almost silent and uncontrollable activity. Usually accompanied by tears, silent laughter is most likely the best kind of laughter. You have to make a conscious effort to remember to breathe as your lungs lose air fast in the process of silent laughing. Your ribs start to ache and you begin to wonder if you'll be physically able to take a deep breath before resorting to more silent laughter. Friends and family may laugh at you in this state, or they may be joining in right next to you. Concerned strangers will stare at you and seriously consider finding you help, or they may just hide you from their children.

After I mentioned an inside joke, I looked over to my friend who was doubled over with silent laughter.
