Godmoding

In a written RPG, this refers mostly to a player controlling another player's character without permission or trying to rewrite the plot to suit themselves. In written RPGs, the owner, ie the person who started the thread in the forum, has control of the plot unless he/she gives permission.

This is something often done by noobs.

(In an RPG set in the 50s)

Jane: Daisy walked into the diner and ordered a milkshake.
Noob: Immediately a man drove his tank into the front of the diner at warp speed, and started blasting off laser guns at everyone!
Jane: You idiot, that's godmoding!

(In the same RP a little later)

Jane: Daisy walked over to talk to her best friend, who was standing by the jukebox.
Noob: Daisy immediately slapped her friend.
Jane: Stop godmoding my character!

Guinness Godmother / Godfather

The designated person (usually an Aunt, Uncle, Parent, Grandparent or Close Friend of Your Mother) who always provides you at Christmas or Birthdays with the latest edition of The Guinness Book of World Records.

OMG, I got ANOTHER Guinness Book of World Records from my Guinness Godmother / Godfather this Christmas... soo predictable!

I had FOUR Guinness Godmother's last Christmas.. Made a fortune on Ebay and was able to buy the 257th edition of Batman Figurines!

I wish I had a Guinness Godfather.. I have never got the Guinness Book of World Records in my life.. I'll trade you one for one of the 20 t-shirts I got though!

Godmother

A person who was there when a child was baptized and is a close friend to the mother or father, it says on google that it is a great honor to be a godmother or godfather. Personally I do not like small children.

Godmodding in ROBLOX

Someone who can do anything to you that you can't do to them. Trying to attack someone without their permission who can do anything they want.

For example: helper54321 that uses Godmodding in ROBLOX grabs another player with the force that can't be done to him. Trying to grab someone with the force that somehow doesn't work.

fairy godmother

An older woman who enjoys the company of younger gay men. This is different from fag hag in the sense that it specifies the age relationship between the parties.

My mom is such a fairy godmother; every time she hears I met a new gay guy she just HAS to meet him.

Fairy Godmother Syndrome

Such in the case of the classic fairytale, Cinderella, F.G.S. is the overwhelming urge and want to help out those less fortunate, usually if they are in desperate need for caring or guidance. Sometimes being used as a substitute for having a stable, romantic relationship with someone themselves, the caregiver themselves may feel the need to latch onto the dreams and aspirations of the person they're helping, as well as in some cases even develop a slight romantic interest for the subject they're helping.

The poor girl's F.G.S. (Fairy Godmother Syndrome) practically compelled her to help out all her friends, only to soon find each one of them living happily ever after, and no one to help her in her darkest hour.
