Final Fantasy

What used to be a good game series on the Super Nintendo is now just a non-interactive FMV movie on the Playstation (tm) and a non-interactive 3D graphics show on the Playstation2. there was also a movie by the same name which came out in 2001, and that sucked so horribly that it almost put Squaresoft out of business (but it didn't, dammit).

Every Final Fantasy game after Final Fantasy 6 is an insult to the art of role-playing.

Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy is a game series that went down hill after the 6th installment. After that, basicly, it lost plot, and was only made for eye candy.

Some of the cutscenes fomr the 6th+ installments felt like they belonged in movies. Literally.

Now, this is how Final Fantasy goes..

INTRO -- > WALK AROUND FOR 2 SECONDS ---> CUTSCENE --> BOSS BATTLE --> WALK AROUND FOR 50 SECONDS --> CUTSCENE ---> +Rince and Repeat.+

Final Fantasy

1. A good series that's been run into the ground. The name's been whored around in various ways to demean the series (Final Fantasy: Spirits within, "Final Fantasy" XI). Reaced it's pinnacle at Final Fantasy 6 (Final Fantasy 3 for Americans). It maintained that Pinnacle in Final Fantasy 7, than took a huge plunge at 8, recovered a bit at nine, and turned Final Fantasy 10 into a goddamn movie.

2. The whole reason that Nintendo is losing the console race. Let's face it, if Square and Nintendo didn't get into that fight, the N64 would have gotten Final Fantasy 7 and the following games, and maybe we wouldn't be stuck in the hellhole known as "Gamecube".

3. Overrated by Fanboys. Not just a specific game, EVERY ONE OF THEM IS OVERRATED.

4. Home of the most genius Final boss ever: Kefka. Most people like Sephiroth because he "IS TEH KEWLZZZ!!!!11!!!one!!!". He's just like that lame angsty goth kid you want to kick the crap out of at school.

5. Will be ruined by Final Fantasy 12, than maybe dumbasses will realize that the whole series has gone to hell, and they're better off dusting off their Playstations and SNES's and NES's and breaking it out old school style.

Final Fantasy

Mostly known as an RPG game for the playstation console. Though it does have a few games on other systems.(Such as Game Cube, and Game boy.)
It has breath taking graphics and beautiful character designs, but can lack a good storyline.(I think they're relying to much on eye candy lately...)

There are also two movies and two series of Final Fantasy.
The movies are FF: The Spirits Within and FF7: Advent Children.

The series are Final Fantasy Unlmited and Final Fantasy Crystal Legend.(Or so I believe that's it. Sorry, I'm not quite sure. ^^;;)

The most overated game series ever. So what if it has good graphics, retarded looking characters, and a Japanesey look. It seems that today, Video Games are automatically cool if they have sharp graphics, and it looks Japanese or Chinese. And Video Games that have all sorts of fun stuff but don't have the best graphics or if they dont look Japanesey are often turned down even by serious gamers. It seems that one of the follys of Modern gaming is that gamers are being turned into wimps. I remmember back in "the days" when all those old and classical video games wouldn't have all those 1 hour long bullshit Cut scenes. Don't get me wrong, I like videogame cutscenes but not if they are hella long.

I sure hope they dont turn Mario from a Cool and Funny looking Italian/New Yorker plumber into some overused, sleek, deadly and Asian-looking yet gay looking Samurai or Warrior who would strip off his clothes after every battle. That would suck now would It.
