Get the Clone Bone mug.Clone Hero is a free rhythm game developed primarily by Syrlain in 2017. The game's purpose is to closely imitate the more well-known rhythm game franchise "Guitar Hero" (hence "clone" hero) and expand upon its weaknesses with greatly improved modularity, lyric support, more song selection, easier song creation, and more. (Songs are downloaded separately and placed in the songs folder of the game).
The game features singleplayer, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer (though it is a rather unsophisticated system and generally regarded as difficult to use) modes. As of the Public Test Build release, it is also possible to join an online game as a spectator.
The game has full keyboard, controller, or guitar controller support if the user wishes to use one of these input devices (the user will have to manually bind controls in the settings, however).
