Every so often the system will randomly freeze before telling you whether you were right or wrong just to increase your heart rate 10 more BPM.
Student: The Castle Learning is due at 11:59 pm tonight.
Friend: I know, I just finished it and got an 86. We only learned half the questions in class.

Castle Kingside

Noun

A supplementary glass containing some form of hard spirit, traditionally a whisky, which sits separately alongside one’s pint of ale or stout.

A punter of a drinking establishment who has a pint and a separate spirit on the go, simultaneously, is said to be drinking "castle kingside". The act of ordering this particular drinking setup — assuming the drinker is already on pints but wants an accompanying spirit — is known as “castling”, or “to castle”, from the verb castle.

The term is derived from the chess move of the same name, whereby the king is moved two squares towards a rook (castle) on the player's first rank, then the rook is moved to the square over which the king crossed. The outcome leaves the king and rook side-by-side.
Josh: “Is that Tim over there at the bar, drinking castle kingside?”

Tom: “Yeah mate, it’s not even 5 o’clock.”

Castle Doctrine

The term "Castle Doctrine" is used when describing law that primarily relates to the use of deadly force in situations of self defence. In simple english, it is the idea that a persons home is their castle and that any unlawfull intrution is considered a threat. The homeowner is then legaly justified in using lethal force against the intruder.

The opposite of Castle Doctrine is "Duty to Retreat" A simple example would be a person walking down a street at night who is confronted by an assailant. Legaly, the victim must try to escape or "retreat" before resorting to lethal force. But if retreat is impossible, then the person is justified in using lethal force.

Castle Doctrine originaly only applied to a persons home. However, in modern times it has been applied in different laws to mean a persons property, not just inside the home. A pesons car is also defined as a part of the home. Thus a carjacking victim is justified in shooting their assailant. Some states apply a persons place of employment to fall under Castle Doctrine.

Castle Doctrine also makes it next to impossible for an assailant (Or their family) to sue their victim after the fact.
The homowner shot and killed the burglar in her house. Her actions where justified under the "Castle Doctrine" law's of that state.

Castle in the Sky

A film directed by Hayao Miyazaki about a girl and a boy in search of the mysterious and long-forgotten city of Laputa, aka the "Castle in the Sky." The themes are individualism, friendship, courage, and pacifism, all of which many other animation films lack.

All of the director's films are consistently given the highest marks by nearly every major film review website (IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, rogerebert.com), and this is no exception.

If compared to his other works, this is considered a masterpiece.

Moral: Go and watch it NOW! No, seriously...
Me: Castle in the Sky is my favorite movie.

Friend #1: No! It's definitely Princess Mononoke
Friend #2: You all are wack. It's clearly Spirited Away.
(Someplace far far way in Japan)
