Vancouver Canucks

A NHL franchise that anually dissapoints their fans with shabby playoff showings and promises of glory next year.. Also the only professional sports team whos greatest accomplishments are almost winning a championship twice.. Canuck fans turn to rioting and looting in the face of defeat as a man can only take his team loosing for around 35 years before he snaps..
Canuck fan.. Ya well remember the vancouver canucks 94 cup run? we almost had it, we got robbed. Mark Messier is a douche..

Canucktard

People that riot when their local hockey team loses once again, rather then over something important. Often they are drunk, don't mind being on camera, or posting evidence to social networks, marking themselves for easy identification.
Did you see Brock Anton's face book status telling the world what he did tonight. That douche bag is a real Canucktard.

Just watching the news, once again the Canucktards are making a mess of our city and giving us a bad rep all over the world.

Canuck

There is a theory that the word is derived from Connaught, a term said to be given by French Canadians to the Irish. The Oxford Companion To The English Language (defines the term as): Canuck 1820’s. Probably from the Iroquoian "CANUCHSA", someone in a "KANATA"(village)…but possibly from Hawaiian "KANAKA" (man), through a pidgin used in the fur trade (in which Pacific islanders were employed), and taken into French as "CANAQUE", perhaps being originally applied to French Canadian canoemen. A nickname for a Canadian…but in the U.S. Northeast pejoratively referring to French Canadians.
Why is it Canucks always have the most intelligent answers?

Soviet Canuckistan

1. A hilarious attempt by Pat Buchanan to make Canada feel shameful about not wanting to participate in a pathetic, unnecessary, wankerific war.

2. A cute nickname for a country that is actually smart enough to stand up to the United States, although the latter of the two countries is fully under the impression that the former is its bitch.
Two days ago, when Canada asked the United States not to target Canadian citizens just because they were born in certain countries, Mr. Buchanan griped to Mr. Press that Americans didn't need a lecture "from Soviet Canuckistan."
