Bucklersmead Academy

Bucklersmead Academy is a secondary school located in the heart of Somerset in the south-west of the UK.

Its a synymon of the word inadequate.

It is a synymon of inadequate due to its recent Ofsted school report were they got the lowest ratings possible, they require improvement.
It means terrible, lazy, bad or horrible.

"God this place is so Bucklersmead Academy!" shouted Barry.

Noun; the actions and tendencies of American corporate middle-management that bore, infuriate, enrage, dismay, constern, and disgruntle their underlings, peers and associates by dint of their pointless frippery, moronic mis-comprehension, appalling ignorance of relevant facts and mitigation circumstances, tenuous ( at best ) grasp of the dynamics of human interaction and social behaviors; and that cause reactions ranging from benign, bored amusement, through such phases as muttering discontent and heated breakroom hissing of acidic commentary, through stunned disbelief and barely contained rage. Finally topping off at heights including coffee-pot urinating hijinx, tire slashing hooliganism, sugar-in-the-gas-tank shenanigans and ultimately, culminating in demented office-park massacres, ala the film, God Bless America. Often because middle management seems to arise from America's burgeoning "Idiocracy" and the general confederacy of dunces.

Phil's non-stop futt-buckery in that last company-wide meeting nearly caused me to have to immediately sign him up for membership in NAMBLA's email newsletter. Whether or not I make it a point to set a rule in his Outlook to auto-forward the newsletter emails he gets from them to the entire company remains to be seen...

Bucker

Riveter, One who deforms one end of a rivet in order to fasten two pieces of metal together.

One who crimps the head of the rivet.

A bucked end of the rivet is the end that has been deformed on the job site/while riveting while the factory end of the rivet already has a head.

Also refereed to as "Bucker-up."

terminology commonly used in building and bridge construction, iron-working.

The foremen shouted, "bucker up, get that rivet in place before it cools down!"

Bucknell

most expensive (liberal arts) (college) ($54,000/ yr) there is. The students here are unusally (preppy)- seven jeans, burberry, and ralph lauren clothes are sold at the bookstore and can get charged on the (student) ID. Kids get drunk, particpating in acts of debauchery most nights a week (especially wednesdays)...The best (frat) consists of sig ep...Hm... thats about it- Oh and Bucky the Bison is a real person. Hes in phi psi.
