Exotic recreational drugs known by letter abbreviations, particularly in combination. Generally used as a derogatory term by people who do not partake in such things, and/or a descriptive term when everyone in a group of people at a party is on something different.

A: What the hell are you guys on?!

B: Well joe and sally are on tripping 2C-B, mary is on MBDB and MDAI, the people fucking in the corner are on 4-MMC and...
A: Got it, alphabet soup - I'm gonna do some good old fashioned cocaine here and smoke a joint if anyone wants to join me...

A concoction of multiple and many drugs that usually result in deadly overdoses that often take ones life.
Ex: "Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine," the office said in a short statement.
