When Verizon Wireless wanted to clear their inventory of Blackberry Curve phones, they started advertexting to their higher-paying customers.

AdVersity is the feeling of annoyance you get when the movie on tv is interrupted every 15 minutes by an ad block which lasts at least 10 minutes. occurs typically with private tv stations.

viewer 1: "oh no, another ad block! will we see the end of this movie before 2am?"

viewer 2: "there you go standing face to face to your AdVersity."
