An old Australian expression meaning to hurry up. Has its origins in the crusted dry dags that gathered in the wool around a sheep's rear end. When dry and hardened they rattle when the sheep runs. Commonly prevented by what is called crutching or shearing the wool around the rear end of the beast.

Get the jerking your chain mug.The term wipe your nose refers to the act of violently attacking the ops (opposition) in a harsh manner, sometimes sending the op to the hospital ER and in some severe cases….. potential death. The index finger slides horizontally under the nose in the path of the ops and ends with the thumbs down position. This gesture lets your team know your out for blood and to scare the ops away.
The flag football team will wipe their nose in the direction of the silly Gumby’s player to scare them off. Don’t be on the wrong side of the wipe your nose sign.
