Weekend Theater

A sorry excuse for a stage space in Little Rock, Arkansas, known for its sub-par actors and laughable attempts at modern American drama. Its actors are often comprised of failed New York rejects, boring lawyers who have nothing better to do, and students from surrounding colleges who were never talented enough to get cast in their school productions. Ironically, each of these groups feel like they are God's gift to the arts.

Actor Wannabe: Have you heard of my latest show?
Pseudo-Friend: No.
Actor Wannabe: I got the lead in the next Weekend Theater production.
Pseudo-Friend: Really? How many people auditioned??
Actor Wannabe: Just me.
Pseudo-Friend: (pause) Yeah have fun with that.

Someone who is shrouded in pessimism, absolutely determined to ensure you have no enjoyment in what ever activity you intend on taking part in.

Guy "Man, I can't wait to stand in line with my mom and get Medal of Honor"

Other guy "Dude, you know it's just like other Modern Warfare games on the market, except for Ghost Recon, but no one likes Ghost Recon."

Guy "Why'd you have to be such a wet weekend?"

Other guy "Wet weekend? I've just saved you $50"

Weekend content

There just isn't enough of it.

Hym "There's another difference between me and other entertainers; I don't take off on the weekends. I do, what, at least an hour's worth? a perfect weekend is when teams you hate lose while the team you love wins.

Sept 15th 2007. A Saturday of a perfect weekend - College Football: Auburn, Tennessee, and Notre Dame all lose while Alabama wins against Arkansas. Awesome.
