Literacy rage

literolling

A real-life variant of the duckrolling and rickrolling pranks.
To hand someone a glass of the light or diet version of some drink, after either he/she has explicitly asked for the regular version or you told him/her that it is the regular version.

Literolling is the act of giving the light version of the drink while the victim thinks he/she is getting the regular version. To be literolled is to be that victim.
Guy 1: I asked John for a regular cola, but this is definitely cola light.
Guy 2: Yes, he is a well known literolling predator, and you have been literolled.

Literary Depression

The overwhelming feeling of sadness and loss of interest one experiences shortly after finishing a mind-blowingly good book.
Man 1: "Hey, what's up with Joe today? He seems sad,"

Man 2: "Oh yeah, he just finished 'Inheritance'. He's got a bad case of Literary Depression,"

digital literacy corps

The "digital literacy corps" is an initiative to increase digital inclusion, reduce the digital divide, and to increase broadband adoption via the use of teams of volunteers to work with population groups that have lower broadband adoption rates, teaching them "digital literacy."
In 2003, Net Literacy's team of student volunteers created a digital literacy corps that helped teach senior citizens, the disabled, and families with lower incomes, among others, how to use a computer and the Internet and identify their own personal broadband value propositon to help increase broadband adoption rates.
