"Out of the blue" is an informal English language idiom that describes an event that occurs unexpectedly, without any warning or preparation. It is used as an adverb. The "blue" in the phrase refers to the sky, one from which a sudden thunderstorm is unexpected.

Blue Nowhere, a phrase coined by Jefferey Deaver in his book, The Blue Nowhere: Cyberspace. The intangible world of electricity and light. A Hacker's Neverland.
Blue- the colour of electricity
Nowhere- this world exists in no real physical way, it is not somewhere you can go, you cannot touch it. It is 'nowhere'.
