Scoliosis

1.) A lateral curvature, and sometimes rotation, of the spinal column. It is usually found in the thoracic vertebrae, and is more common in girls as they go through puberty. It can make the spine into a "C", or even "S" shape. Sometimes, it will require surgery or bracing, but most of the time, observation is all that is needed. It rarely gets worse after puberty ends.

2.) A reason to get invasive surgery, causing loads of pain and recovery time. (Only if a large curvature is present, or organ function is compromised.)

3.) A reason for teenage girls to post on Tumblr and Instagram, complaining about how bad their lives are, and how bad their health is. More often than not, these girls are the ones with >30 degree curves, with no long-standing complications. The people severely affected/suffering from long-term complications are usually not as bad about doing this.

4.) The reason why you had to endure painful, non-helpful physical therapy and bracing for much of your teenage years.

5.) A diagnosis many teens, male and female and inbetween, will pine for, so they can get out of gym.

Friend: I just came back from the doctor! Guess what!
Me: What happened?
Friend: I have a 12 degree curve! As long as I photoshop the numbers on the report and make it look like a 30 degree curve, I'm out of gym!
Me: *has severe rib malformations due to a 30 degree curve in my back, and a huge cyst in my spinal cord due to scoliosis in my neck*
Friend: Isn't that great?!?!?

Scotland

Scotland, the country with the angry people. Known to have ginger hair and like to shout alot about a little in their country. If they move countries though they will tend to keep this patarism down because the other people will just be jealous that they have Iron Bru in their MacDonalds. Most people from Scotland also want independence even though the Scotish government earn more by being united with the of the British government. Some people also say that Scotland is Britians Canada.
