North Carolina
The 12th state to ratify the constitution. Has some big cities, like Greensboro (the best one), and Charlotte, and lots of smaller towns in the country. College basketball is the main sport, because schools like Duke and UNC are consistently successful. The ONLY state in America where you can visit the mountains, beach, and city in the same day. You can't call us rednecks- I mean cmon we have an NBA team. Also pretty kickass climate-wise because I can wear shorts year-round.
If you went to any of the states that border North Carolina (Virginia, Tennessee, and especially South Carolina), you'd get your ass on the soonest flight back.

Carolina chickadee
A Carolina chickadee is a burst of extremely loud microphonic feedback. The most common way this can be achieved is when a person takes a hot microphone and puts it in front of a working loudspeaker to obtain feedback. This action is most often used in bars around or after closing time to get unruly patrons to leave the establishment.
Man..that asshole had to pull a Carolina chickadee to get us out the bar last night..my ears is still rangin'!!!

Caroline Hawkins is a sweet, caring and, although she doesn't always know it, beautiful girl. She is very smart, and knows what she's talking about. She is a little insane, but her craziness brings out the best in other people. She can be very loud, probably a little too loud sometimes, but she is loved anyway. A Caroline Hawkins attracts all the men ;) and knows how to get what she wants. She is very athletic and loves to play sports with her friends. She is very popular, but known to be kind. Although she sometimes stresses out over school work, she is generally good at focusing on the positive and moving on/learning from past mistakes. She can gossip a little too much sometimes, but generally understands when she has gone too far. She secretly loves Justin Bieber, Jake Paul and Jacob Sartorius although she will never admit it, and has posters of them hanging everywhere in her room.

A Caroline is someone who will be there for you no matter what. She will always put you before herself and make sure you're alive and well before she does the same for her. Not to mention, she is also absolutely stunning in every aspect of the word. And is a total genius when it comes to anything school related, and is a literal god at volleyball.
