Cameron Complex

Also known as Cameronism.

A common disorder among women characterized by an unhealthy attraction to men who are "broken" or "vulnerable". The woman with the complex believes that she can "fix" or heal the man through the power of her love.

Refers to Dr. Allison Cameron, of the television show House M.D. who fell in love and married a man dying of cancer, and later falls in love with the sarcastic, bitter, and crippled Doctor House.

*ALL women have some form of a Cameron Complex. This answers the question of, why women like "bad boys" and musicians - because they are hoping to be able to "fix" them and make them into family men who are stable and secure.

Stacey: He totally opened up to me last night and told me all about his dog dying when he was 6. I think I'm in love.
Alicia: Oh honey...you have a Cameron Complex

Ernest Complex

A condition where a girl is interested in a guy solely because of his name. Usually makes little to no sense. Sometimes caused by a coincidental pattern among crushes. Named for the Oscar Wilde play The Importance of Being Earnest.

Girl 1: Did you see the new guy in class today?
Girl 2: Yeah, he was kinda weird looking.
Girl 1: His name is Simon...
Girl 2: OH MY GOD I MUST HAVE HIM.
Girl 1: Jeeze, tone down on the Ernest complex.

Exhausted Kitten Complex

Exhausted Kitten Complex occurs when a person is woken up from a deep sleep but their mind isn't fully awake. Symptoms include, but are not limited to; feeling weak as a three day old kitten, being too tired to put the fear of God into the person who woke them up, and mumbling incoherently. Warning: People who experience Exhausted Kitten Complex may be unable to open their eyes to their full capacity giving them that slant-eyedcat look, which may cause them to bump into walls and/or furniture. If a person appears to be doing a bad Asian impersonation please proceed with caution.

"My mom woke me up at five o'clock this morning for no apparent reason."
"Dang! I bet you got mad! Did you put the fear of God into her for waking you up?"
