Corey Taylor

Stone Sour is a metal band consisting of Corey Taylor and James Root of Slipknot! It's a side project that Corey and James decided to do in between Slipknot albums just for fun! They didn't expect Stone Sour to become such a huge hit that it was, but because of the song "bother" they became well known all over! In early 2006 with the release of their second album " Come (whatever) may" They wrote a song titled zzYzx Road! In the October '06 edition of Metal Edge interview with stone sour Corey Taylor explains that Stone sour will be around for a good while! It gives the opprotunity to express emotions that he couldn't normally get out with Slipknot!
