The reason why qwerty is the first six letters on your keyboard is because that is the name of the type of the keyboard. Qwerty keyboard. There were two keyboards. The qwerty keyboard and this other one. I am not quite sure what it is called. On that other keyboard the most used letters were put on where you would most likely put your fingers, but most people did not like this keyboard. So the qwerty keyboard is the one we stuck with.
