A person who uses text messaging or instant messaging to send one-way communications. Even if you respond immediately to their postcard, there is little hope you will receive a reply. The postcard has already put their phone away or closed the instant messaging window after they delivered their postcard

Ian is such a postcarder. I received another one-way text message from his this morning. I replied the 2nd I got his message, but he probably already turned his phone off.

Typically used derisively by girls when they realise that they have just been used and that the guy isn't actually interested in them.

Postmodern gothic

A sub-genre of gothic literature that features postmodern undertones. Postmodern gothic novels are often reflective of society post 2000, highlighting fears of the loss of self, commercialism, terrorism and technology. The term "postmodern gothic" was not in use much until recent years, and became especially popular when used to describe the fictional novella "Bittersweet Symphony" by author Rebecca McNutt. Postmodern gothics are especially popular with hipsters, up-and-coming-lawyers and businessmen.

Someone who identifies with postalsexuality. Basically, a postalsexual is attracted to anything that has to do with mailing, stamps, and postal services. They are frequently turned on by these things. Postalsexuality is on the ace spectrum, although postalsexuals can still feel attraction to other people. It varies between every postalsexual.
