She would tell a guy put his dukes up and a female put her her duchesses up, because she was always acting tough thinking that the world was like that, where nothing was sacred, people were here just to survive and win in her mind.

Get the Duchess mug.Someone that pretends to be more concerned about people than she is, since really being concerned about what people that are not yourself are doing (when there is no financial interest involved) would require her to quit being as narcissistic as she was, which would be like someone else trying to control her or tell her what to do in her mind, since the thought wasn't coming from her.
The Duchess was always acting too tough or wild and out of control, but never wanted the same measures used against everybody else when they got out of control used on her (but still wanted the measures used against them to make her feel more secure about her image).
