Get the Fried Ricermug. A white dude who loves modifying his phat 'Rolls with sick 19" aluminum alloy rims, a crazy Ferrari F50 GT rear spoiler reaching a mile high, scissor-like doors, and exaggerated leopard patterns on the shizzling car.
My Rolls Royce ricer partner became a stud when he attracted attention of several white chicks staring at his car and bling-bling.

Get the Rolls Royce ricermug. contrary to its close relative, the rice rocket, a daily ricer is a car manufactured by Asian automakers with no performance enhancing stickers or giant drag inducing fins. These cars are used most commonly for driving to and from work. Usually powered by small four cylinder engines they are great on fuel and don't cost a lot of money to drive.

Get the daily ricermug. Much like several terms referring to the LGBTQ community, Ricer can be used both as a slur or to refer to a community with a specific aesthetic and can often be confused by those unfamiliar with the community as being racially charged or out and out racist.
Ricer, when used in a non derogatory manner, refers to community of car enthusiasts focused on primarily cosmetic changes with an aesthetic popularized in America by movies like The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, Anime such as Intital D, and video games such as Midnight Club.
Ricers primarily use cars of Asian design
such as Hondas, Toyotas, Hyundais, and their subsidiary companies such as Lexus, Scions, etc. This is used an argument for the racist nature of the term; however, As the aesthetic style originated in Asia and was imported to America, I personally find this to be an unfair assault on the community.
Within the Ricer community exists subcommunities such as JDMs (Japanese Drift Machines), which is both an aesthetic community and an actual brand who makes modification parts.
While JDMs are Ricers, not all Ricers are JDMs. It has been a struggle of the JDM community to maintain their unique identity as many specifically white people become uncomfortable using the term ricer and have instead began using JDM as a stand in for ricer. This has lead the JDM community to get very defensive of what is JDM and as such can give the community the reputation of being toxic.

Guy 1: I just bought this car for like 3000. It looks sick, but the guys at the tire shop that the rim on my car was a 18.5 inch with an 18 inch tire on it, who even does that?
Guy 2: Dude, you bought a Ricers project car... They sometimes value form over function.
Guy 1: The guy I bought it from was white, why did you just assume he was Asian.
Guy 2: That's not what I meant by Ricer. I mean the car is literally aesthetically an example of the Ricer community.
Guy 1: I think you mean JDM community.
Guy 2: No, I mean Ricer. This is a Korean made car and has grippy tires. It is definitely not a Japanese Drift Machine.
Guy 1: But that word sounds kinda racist.
Guy 2: Dude, Next Saturday the ricers are having a car show. Come with me and I can actually introduce you to some of my Ricer friends. They may be able to help you with your tire problem.

Get the Ricermug. A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):
- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
- Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself
- Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire
- Clear tail lights and corner signals
- A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)
- Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow

Get the Ricermug. Ricer: ra-ice-cer derived from the English slang term "Rice Burner" Noun, any foreign car or motorcycle of Asian design or manufacture utilizing the factory equiped drivetrain, not intended for speed or performance, yet attempting to imitate the look and design of a performance car built for racing or competition.
Lately many people who own ricers try to change the meaning of what is considered "Rice"
A good rule of thumb to determine if your car is a Ricer, is if you have ever bought a performance part for a vehicle making less than 300 hp, and if the vehicle is of asian design or manufacture. If so, then it most certainly is and will be classified by many as a Ricer.
