editorializing

An edpidemic sweeping urbandictionary.com in at least half of their definitions. Symptoms include putting your own opinion in definitions of concrete nouns, phrases, etc. and belittling the opinion(s) of any and all dissenters.

See Same-Sex Marriage, Scott Peterson, Macintosh, or any other subject that maybe be under even one circumstance a slight bit of a miniscule fraction controversial.

Um....there's also a bit in this definition.

an event hosted by an editor on their birthday in which people edit the birthday editor’s interest, post it, dt/tag them/dedicate it to them and caption the edit “(person’s username)’s birthday bash”

Birthday Editor: “everyone is invited to my editor’s birthday bash”
Editor’s followers: “ what’s that?”
Birthday Editor: “ an event in which people edit the birthday editor’s interest, dt them and caption it “(person’s user)’s birthday bash”

Editors of Urban Dictionary

Self-Important Douche bags, who wont accept comedic gold.

I submitted a genius entry, but the editors of urban dictionary denied it.

My definition, was shot down by the editors of urban dictionary because the forgot they worked for a comedic website bot Merriam-Webster.

editor's lament

When you're editing definitions on Urban Dictionary and have a pretty good rhythm going and you deny a "Misandry" and assume that a "man" is going to pop up next but it doesn't and you accidentally deny a legit word because of an itchy trigger finger.

Oh shit! I just denied a perfectly good word because I was locked and loaded for "Misandry". Oh well,just write it off as editor's lament.
