archispeak

Large, made-up words that architects and designers use to make themselves sound smarter than you (you being the client or the confused observer of design). It does nothing to inform or enlighten the consumer of architecture and mostly serves to numb them into obedience or self doubt.

"I went to Rem Koolhaas' lecture last night."

"What did he talk about?"

"I have no idea. It was all in archispeak. Either I'm stupid or the guy is brilliant!"

Archer

A comedy series on FX about Sterling Malory Archer, the bset secret agent in the world (supposedly), but in reality is a sex-hounding womanizing jackass that still kicks ass. All the main characters are employed by an agency called ISIS and have thier own vices. Gotta love it!

Me: "Hey did you catch Archer last night?"

Person: "Yea...all the characters are f@#*ed up! lol"

Me: "Haha I know right!"

There have been questıons posed concernıng theır humanıty as many scıentısts have found God-lıke tendancıes ın theır behavıor.

Archivalist

A combination of the words Archivist and Survivalist.

Used to denote someone who hordes information that may help in any random situation, much like a survivalist makes preparations for widespread catastrophe.

Person A: Why do you have e-books on Lockpicking, Herbal remedies, Helicopter Piloting and 1000 other random subjects?

Person B: I'm an archivalist....I can't help it.
