Contraction of the idiomatic expression 'shit load' to indicate something existing in abundance. For example "He just ate a sload of babies" to indicate "he just ate a shit load of small children" Not to be confused with the inversion "your explanation is a load of shit".

Used to describe the condition of vinyl records which have been poorly treated and stored. Records described as slodden will feature dirt, mould, numerous bodily fluids, scratches, warps, cracks and smell musty. Usually only used as Charity Shop Fodder.
