Get the Liverpool Hopemug. The idea that one day poor people from the ghetto will rise above and realize their financial dreams by some miracle. This usually involves them sitting on their ass and getting lucky by winning the lotto or some other type of bet. Ignorance and lack of responsibility are key traits that these people must have.
The hope that ghetto ass people exhibit on game shows such as Deal or No Deal when they are offered nearly $200,000 and have a one in five chance of winning more money or potentially losing it all. Ghetto hope is when these people turn down the $200,000 offered for that long shot chance of winning more. Ghetto hope can also be exhibited by women when they have multiple children in hopes of one of them one day playing professional sports.

Get the Ghetto Hopemug. This is a person's first stage in their Jedi training. Jedi Hopefuls are very young children taken to the Jedi Temple to be trained under Jedi Masters such as Yoda. These Jedi Hopeful will usually be trained in a group of pupils and will live at the Jedi Temple. Because they are taken at such young ages, most have never known their true parents; thus they have few problems coping with the "strange" environment of the Jedi Temple. Jedi Hopefuls remain training at the Jedi Temple until they are chosen to be a Padawan learner by either a Jedi Knight or Master. If by a certain age a Jedi Hopeful has not been selected to become a Padawan, they will be sent to work in community service of the Galactic Republic. Depending on their skills, they may be supervised to ensure that they do not cause trouble through their Jedi knowledge.

Anakin Skywalker was accepted into the Jedi Order at an older age, thus he skipped the Jedi Hopeful stage of his training and became a Padawan learner of Jedi Knight Obi-Wan-Kenobi.

Get the Jedi Hopefulmug. The Hope Pinch is the extra, self-tightening of the anal sphincter when suffering from a severe case of diarrhea. The o-ring is pinched much tighter than usual in hope that one doesn't not accidentally shart or shat themself. The Hope Pinch is most commonly deployed when one battling severe squirts finds themself, or is required to be, a less than comfortable distance from the nearest restroom.
Gary had been suffering frome severe diarrhea for several days. Finding himself on the brink of dehydration, he needed Gatorade. Having no choice, he did a Hope Pinch and headed to the grocery store. Unfortunately as he pulled into the parking lot, all Hope was lost and Gary had the warmest, wettest assplosion yet.

Get the Hope Pinchmug. Specific to the state of Georgia: The first of year of college spent drinking, partying, and otherwise experimenting with everything they can find to put into their bodies. From the Hope Scholarship (given to high school graduates with a B average or better). Students often attend college for free and party their way to failing out after the first year. Such students are said to have taken the Hope Vacation: a year of raging in the dorms for free courtesy of the Georgia taxpayer.
