The downtown is very quaint and an attractive get away for the city folks to come for a quiet weekend of shopping, hiking, biking, kyacking or snow skiing in the winter. People are friendly and hard workers- at least the older generation is. If you want to visit, the fall is gorgeous and the town hosts a wonderful fall festival along with many other fun events through out the year. Many people from Baltimore and Washington come here to retire because the cost of living is very reasonable and the town is well kept with a lot of history. The only people who don’t like Bedford are the young and lazy socially awkward that want to sit around and drink beer and do drugs. That we don’t tolerate or make welcome. We have a beautiful town and work hard to keep it that way.
Bedford,PA is small town America at its best. Bedford, PA is a place that city folk like to go to for a relaxing and quiet weekend. If you like to shop you go to Bedford,PA
