writing circle jerk

A writers' circle whose members spend all their time praising each other rather than giving constructive feedback.

I went to this writing circle meeting because I was stuck on my story, but all they did was tell me how amazing it was. Total writing circle jerk.

writer's flood

The opposite of writer's block, but just as debilitating. Writer's flood is when an unfocused, uncontrollable deluge of ideas come to mind, leaving the writer with way too much information to digest. Most of the time, the ideas that spring forth are completely incompatible with the current topic (e.g. robot ideas when the book takes place in Victorian England or recipes when writing an IT manual). The end result is the same as writer's block: an inability to create a functional work.

I started my college thesis yesterday, but I had a writer's flood of cyberpunk plot seeds. I'm still on page one.

Write club is quite possibly the smartest group of individuals all gathered together in one place Everyone aspires to be half as great as one of it's members, but they never will be. Write club is the embodiment of awesomeness.

Example 1:
Teacher: " Everyone please write this down! You need a piece of paper and a writt."

Example 2:
Student 1: Does anyone have a pen, pencil, or marker I could borrow?
Student 2: Yeah I have a blue pen and black pen. Do you care which one?
Student 1: No, I just need a writt of any kind!

Boss: "Do you have a writt and a piece of paper? I need you to write this down."
